  • Reluctant sale of my beautiful pink and green fixed, which was originally put together by the notorious Fixed Gear London
This is based around a lugged 54cm steel conversion.

I am only selling this bike because I never ride it any more and need the cash more than I need this bike.

I wish to sell as a complete build, which includes an as new pink Chris King headset and all white custom powder coated components. The wheels are also custom powder caoted white hubs to pink deep Vs.

The frame and parts are all in good condition but the frame is in need of a fresh lick of paint.

This would be a fantastic project for someone who is newly interested in customised rather than off the peg bicycles, or for someone who just wants a striking bike to ride straight away.

I'm looking for a price around the 350 mark but would be willing to consider sensible offers.

  • 350 is a bargain! Too bad you are selling it Em, that bike is awesome.

  • Thanks lebowski, The plan is get rid of every thing i no longer need/use.

  • Bargain! Nice bike btw

  • Gorgeous. Bike looks awesome too ;-]

This will shift no worries, damn, even tempted for myself but got that itching desire to build the next bike from scratch...

  • this bike inspired the original geekhouse.
    i love it.

  • hmmm.... i want it.

  • Hi Em, do you have a larger photograph of the whole frame?

  • Hey EM, if you decide to split (which I very much doubt you will have to at this price!), i'll give you gold nuggets in exchange for the chainset.

  • Will take a pic of the current condition and post it when i get a chance. You no you want it spagettihoops : )

  • i would love it...... but i have too many bikes allready!

  • hey em,, is the rear hub fixed/free by any chance?

looks quite little for a 54 - or is that an optical ilusion and you're quite tall? my wife is eyeing this up.. she's 5'2" so it might be too big?

  • She's tall.
54 for someone 5'2" is very unlikely to work unless you wife is all legs and arms with no body inbetween.

  • It's just a fixed hub but if you wanted fixed free you can fit it

hopefully not literally of course, that would be hideous.

  • Humpty Dumpty: Alice couldn't work out if his tie was his belt or not.

  • The plan is get rid of every thing i no longer need/use.

I'm planning something similar... Too much stuff...
Shame to see the old girl go...

  • stunning bike, just found it on the fgl flikr set.
shame i think im just abit too small, at 5ft5 it'd be abit of a stretch i think?
    :(

hm. close encounters stylee. er, not my wife..

never mind.. thanks anyways em.. it's a gorgeous gorgeous bike

  • Really lovely bike, Em! Wish I was in the market to buy.

  • Thanks for posting up the Flickr link dnmrt

I'll opt out at this point - it's a lovely build but am after something more traditional.

    Good luck!

  • So its your bike.
I've nearly crashed twice perving it. And I've always said I'd propose to the owner. So, here goes...

    Em, will you marry me?

Failing that, if you decide to split I would very much like to buy the wheels off you. You might make more if you split... hint hint

  • this is beautiful! a wedding!

  • were it not for the fact I just bought a road bike I would have snapped this up :(
