Cycle clothes and accessories - online shops

Just thought I'd share this shop with you if you haven't seen it yet. Nice stuff for ladies and gents.

These guys are brilliant. I've never had service as good. Order by 3pm, you've got it the next day. If things are unlikely to fit you, they e-mail/ring you to save returns, as happened to me last week.
If only other sites were all as aware of the importance of good customer service...

Prendas are superb. If something doesn't fit then they'll send the replacement before they've received the returned item. Great customer service, as Platini says.

I had a good chat with the guy who runs alwaysriding at the Cycle Show. He seemed very passionate about what he does and some of the brands they carry are very good.

Yup, Prendas all the way. It's where the discerning older gentleman shops, apparently.

I really rate the Nike cycling kit. I've bought lot of the stuff way below RRP, and it's well made and designed.

I've only bought one thing from Prendas and it was the White Men Cant Jump Colnago cap. Could not live without it.

Incidentally, can anyone give me a tip for buying unpadded tights?

I cant locate full length with stirrups or 3/4's unpadded. Im sure some folk on here were talking about them. Sounds a good option for for changing undershorts.

Also, that dude has inspired me to shave my legs.

Tonight, I collected my bike from a mates place and realised that all I had left there were my riding shoes and my lycra undershorts. I usually never wear lycra without baggy shorts over the top, but had no choice. I borrowed a t-shirt of his for the trip home. He handed me a Pantera Tshirt with "Stronger Than All" printed is massive letters on the back. I made a deliberate detour down brick lane because I have never felt so fucking awesome.

You could always sew your own stirrups on to a more affordable pair, I suppose.
Bear in mind that Assos gear lasts an awful lot longer than many cheaper alternatives, so that brings the real cost down...

errr.... well, I dont really know to be honest. Um, something for spring-summer which is why im thinking 3/4. Not heavy ones.
