I always though that radial lacing on a low flange 36h hub was not the best idea? But looks nice in indeed.
-
• #4
why, it's 36h and super strong.
-
• #5
The rim is strong for sure but there's very little metal between the holes in the hub and the radial lacing is supposed to stress the hub a lot etc. but I'm no engineer so...

campagnolo pista rims, the black new ones, are radial on the front.they should know.
radial on the front is good but never go for radial on the rear on a fixed. -

evening bump, i'm open to sensible offers.

Dose this work ok with a brake? And I take it it is a clincher.
-
• #9
No gotti! You don't want a brake again!!!!
How's the hand? -
• #10
For the misses maybe. I will be putting a brake back on for a while after I get back on the bike. I dont think my hand will be strong enough for skidding.

yeah it's machined and will work with a brake. it's a great wheel, it took me ages to find and then i found a early 60's track frame so i'm having to go old school.
