Spencerwells got a nice and practical frame pump like you describe at Tour de Ville. You can probably see it on his bike in the drag sprint photos ;)

I'm looking for a vintage (late 1970s) frame pump to fit 50cm pegs.
Original equipment would have been alloy bodied silca probably.
The frame pumps you get now are either:
a) too-short plastic ones like the LUMA colt.
b) designed for one peg and the other end is meant to wedge between two tubes.
c) expensive NOS ones from abroad. There is a seller on Ebay UK who has some very nice chrome pumps, but sadly not in the length I need.
Anyone got any sources for a reasonably priced thing?
Perhaps your local bike shop has some languishing in a corner with the reflectors, trouser-clips, and weldtite bearings?...?
This is a finishing touch!
that bloke on ebay is selling ones for frame fit, right?
as in they fit to top tube and downtube, not to the braze ons.
yeah I'm looking for one too, its damn hard to find. -

Perhaps I didn't look at the auction closely enough, but the one I am after fits onto 2 pegs..
Like this 1977 catalogue pic...
