Reg: LX52 XWK drove into me

Yup. Herne Hill, this eve. Sped past me at about 40-50mph way too close/cutting me up. He was driving illegally in a bus lane and surprise surprise, he's a private hire taxi. I caught up with him at the lights, leant against/thumped his window. Usual slanging match exchanged, he then swerved around then into me as he drove off (mashton stylee I stayed on the bike).

Wow, I thought, this guy must be on the way to something serious to be driving so quick. So I was surprised to reach my destination at the top of Herne Hill and find the car parked, lights still on. I waited around a bit and eventually the driver came out of a shop. I went over to the car, opened his passenger door and calmly told him that I thought he had been driving recklessly...naturally this turned into a bit more shouting and then he leant over and pushed me away from his car, and slammed the door closed into me. I kicked his car in frustration and anger (rather pathetically I'm afraid) and he drove off.

Now I'm not going to bother reporting this incident, and I will admit to antagonising him, but he was an absolute idiot, he physically pushed me and he was driving so dangerously that if anyone can find any details about the driver and otherwise tarnish his name it would please me greatly.

Vehicle: silver people carrier, private hire taxi, Vauxhall Zafira.
Registration plate LX52 XWK
Driver: white, male, late 20's

Whatever happened to drivers knowing their way around London. Those things should be banned. If you cant navigate your way around London, you shouldn't be in a car

thanks. You know what though, it's just one of those stupid incidents. It got a bit out of hand but at the end of the day I wasn't seriously injured so I'm not going to go through reporting it but it makes me feel better to rant here. Oooh, I'll be all over C+ like a rash as soon as I'm an oldie!

while it is entirely your choice, I would be tempted to report it. The guy sounds like a prick and if there is any chance of the fuzz having a word it could be worth it. After all, there might even be cctv or sumthin.
