Nice one, Henry. As usual, I didn't even notice that you were filming/taking pictures until the travelator bit, and I'm afraid I didn't get what you were doing at all. It is good for comedy effect. Maybe we should do this ride with eighty people sometime and try this shot again ...

I don't know about anyone else, but having not slept yet the knackeredness has just hit hard.
I'm bushed.
good day. good night. good folk. good ride.
I loved it, even when I couldn't get off my bike when i cramped up. -

Got home and was still wide awake. Slept for five hours but feeling fit as a fiddle. Getting the miles in FTW!

I have had a good 8 hours sleep, ready to get food, get ready for work and get back to sleep.. As I've said though, my legs are quite sore so not fit as a fiddle

I've done 300 miles in the last two weeks including this ride, which is why I felt quite strong and I'm not feeling any after-effects. So good to be getting fitter again after a long winter lay-off.

i'm pretty chuffed.
that was my first real ride since the accident last year, and i'd been without a bike for a bit too.
woke up this morning after a 12 hr sleep, and feel just great.
(I didn't go into work, the night shift was covered by a friend)thanks for waiting for me when my lack of fitness was proven, and now I've got to get back into the training.
triathlons await. -

Hi all.
I slepts 5 hours yesterday afternoon and had a normal night yesterday evening. I feel OK today, just a very light pain in leg muscles, almost un-noticable. I took my bike to work as usal today!
That was a great ride, my first "long" one really, I rarely ride over 40 miles... And also my spiny ratio was OK after all despite my concerns... 42X18... whatever!
I did not know most of you, it was nice to meet you!
Thanks for a great route and all Oliver!

That's a great ratio. It is spinny but it's right on the money; you can get some speed and still climb hills..and not on foot.
Looks like that was fun, I've yet to do more than 25miles in one chunk so might have to do one of these.

Glad everybody enjoyed it so much and is feeling fine today!
It was an absolute pleasure. Totally loved it.
Rematch? I'd certainly be up for doing it again, although I'd also quite like to go somewhere else.
If anyone has any suggestions, let us hear them.
In the summer, I'll at least do the Exmouth Exodus (http://www.exmouthexodus.co.uk/ - highly recommended) and the Dunwich Dynamo.
