  • Geoffrey Butler frame, fork and stronglight headset.

    57cm.

    £100.

  • don't you know what tubing it have?

  • No idea to be honest Ed- it is very light, but it could be made of anything as far as I know.

  • ill take it for £80. sorry to be cheap but i just bought some 4 seasons so am more broke than before.

  • don't you know what tubing it have?

Awe531ome or I'm a Dutchman (no offence Jos or any other Nederlanders reading this ,thought... it just one of those sayings, innit).

  • how old is it, is it 27" or 700?

  • I suspect it was designed for 27".

I've been running it with 700C though.

    (Shit picture warning!)

This is the bike with 700C on.

  • I have £80 from Melon, any advance on £80?

    Going once...

  • hmm, im going to have problems getting the frame from you, travelwise, so unless somone else offers...

shouldnt be a problem im just not going to be able to get up to london for 2 weeks or so.

  • Ok, any other interest before this is sold to Melon for £80?

  • would you post to glasgow? whereabouts are you?

  • I'm in Londons famous London, I guess I could post it but have never posted anything of this size before- are you happy to pay postage?

  • whereabouts in london are you? i could maybe have a friend pick it up.

  • I live in Deptford, South East London, work in Waterloo.

  • my mate is bexley heath. i like the frame, might be a touch to small for me at 6ft tho...

  • I'm 6'2" for reference.

  • tubing is 531. :)

  • tubing is 531. :)

    And therefore almost incalcuably awesome...

  • I'm 6'2" for reference.

and how does it feel for size? what size is the top tube?

  • Has it been sold already??

  • Bear in mind that the frame is at home and I am at work so cannot measure any of this- from memory it is a 58cm c-c seat tube, and I think the top tube is 57cm c-c.

I ran it with a 115mm stem, and as much post as you can see in the photo in the thread of it when it was built up.

It is still very much for sale.

  • oh, what disadvantages are there of putting 700c tyres on a frame designed for 27"?

  • bigger gaps, longer reach for brakes. That's about it! :)

  • I will pay £85 and can pick up or meet in East London...

  • Sale fell through so this is available again- and needs to sell as I am poor.
