  • I'm parting out and selling my Dave Lloyd geared bike, as I've just got my new lugged lovely from my uncle. See below for a pic of the whole bike...

Frame: it's a 62cm CT, but with a lower than normal top tube. It was custom made for a bloke called Ron Hunt (his name is on the top tube). Beautifully flawlessly crafted from Dedacciai 18 MCDV6 HT tubing. It's got Horizontal dropouts (ripe for conversion if you want) 130mm rear spacing, 1" head tube (so either threaded or 1" threadless), chromed dropouts and chainstay, And is in really good condition. Comes with a shimano BB.
This really is a top-drawer frame and I'd like £150 posted for it.

Forks: Alpina 1" threadless Carbon/Alloy steerer. They look virtually brand new. Straight blades and a loooong steerer. RRP is £110, on sale for £70 at IS. I'll take £40 posted.
Snoops has pre-lim dibs on these as he's expressed interest in them before.

The rest of the kit on the bike is Mainly a Campagnolo 9sp Veloce groupset. Hubs are laced to Rigida Ultimate Power rims (with an aero section). Crankset is not as shown in the photo - it's now a black Campag Mirage. How I split this depends on who needs what. I would happily sell it all to one person, or go as far as breaking it all up individually if I can sell most of it to separate buyers, **so offers please!

I can photo/measure any of the parts for you - just ask.

  • 2nd dibs on the forks please ..

can you let me know when you can if Snopps is gonna take them ...

  • Noted. I've PMd Snoops just waiting on a response.

  • How much would you want for the wheels and cassette? I might be interested. Cheers.

  • Errr not too sure. £50 posted sound about right? With tyres and tubes?

EDIT: I'll include the campag chain that's been run on the cassette too, always best to keep em together.

  • Sounds fair to me, are you based in Manchester? I think I might be coming over that way on Sunday, if you are, perhaps I could have a quick look at them. Cheers

  • How much you after for the rear mech? could be just what I need.

  • BUMP :)

Looks like I may be down in London on a week or so and could bring stuff with me, if anyone's interested...

  • can't believe no ones taken the frame yet.

  • I know - I'd put "big sexy frame" in the thread title, but I can't edit it!

  • jammy - whats your inside leg measurement?
I'm assuming the bike is set up for you in the first pic...?
And what is the top-tube length on the frame?

  • Not sure on the inside leg if I'm honest... The bike is set up for me in the first pic yeah.
    Top tube length is 58CtC

Looks like it might well be sold to someone from fixed gear leeds. I'll keep you posted.

  • Jammy, are the forks gone?

  • I've heard nothing from PJhorgan despite a pm. I'll give him 'till this evening, then if not - you're in!

  • Second dibs would be nice - i need to check out my new frame, but i think these would work. Are you selling the stem too?

  • Yeah it's an ITM 110mm, black. Another tenner? I'll include the 1 1/8 > 1" shim too

  • Frame sold pending collection
