ii got this confused with 'The Bird Is The Word'...... wich is a hilarious track, there's an episode of family guy where Peter just sings that song over and over again.

absolutely no "rating and slating" going on.

You mean Surfin' Bird by the Trashmen... Worked great on the rollers in December, I thought...

it's a bit tricky to adequately rate/slate 20 entirely different songs when you're pretending to work. I did try, but I realised I'd taken 15 minutes to write loads of nonsense about how great the Ronettes were and if I did that for every song my hands would fall off and the forum would probably implode

Errrr...
Your turn... ;p
I'm not actually much of a Jay-Z fan, love 99 Problems tho'... Rick Rubin rules... -

Sonic Youth Vs Christina Aguilera... Haven't listened to that for ages, it's great! :]
Ok here’s the deal, post 20 of your songs from your mp3 player or computer library but on random. Once you’ve done that discuss with others about their music, you know, mock, judge, applaud taste that kinda thing.
It has to be random don’t cheat just cause you have duffy in your collection and you’re ashamed of yourself. You might also uncover a few forgotten gems
Here’s mine from my ipod… if this thread doesn’t die on its arse I’ll give another 20 from my main library, which should throw up a lot more variance and I suspect potential shame.
Now you go
