Wanted: Help Building a Road Bike

As the title says i need a bit of help building a road bike.

Tools needed are:
Shimano outboard bearing BB tool
Shimano Freewheel tool
good allen keys

Help:
Gears - i'm pretty much clueless

If anyone can help, or has any idea that would be great

i saw you bought that frame - looks nice.
i am just building up a new road bike, having bought an old frame and sourced all the bits. so may be able to help with advice on bits and pieces and gears.

no practical help tho. i would suggest going to Cranks workshop for the tools - or Baker St. Bikes. they are going to build mine up and i reckon whatever the cost (not very much i imagine) it will be worth it, as gears are a mystery to me.

went to cranks the other week, they don't have the outboard bb tool, but may use them for everything else, just feel a little bad as i don't think its aimed at people building up 1k road bikes.

Went to baker street for a quote, to build a bike from a box of parts £90, that's a little steep for my liking, so i'll see if i can find any other options.

I'll wait a bit to see if other people can help.

I don't have that BB tool you need. Andy might. Got the rest though I think.

I'd recommend Baker Street if you can swallow the 90 quid. Its a top shop and they'll do right.

gimme £30 and a weekend afternoon, will be done to perfection, with all the correct tools!
