Salt bmx cranks?

  • anyone had any experience with these?
im not paying 130 quid for profiles
as i do not need the strength as bmxers do
    whats your opinions

  • I have them on my we the people BMX. I'm shit and a pussy so not pushing them, but they seem fine. Mine are single bolt not spline but I'm sure you've read all the stuff about single bolt vs splined on fixed.

  • pretty heavy, tbh I wouldn't bother buying bmx cranks not for a bmx unless you plan to do tricks in which case you should get a bmx...go with profile race cranks ftw!

  • there wank...for everything. profiles are expensive but with a lifetime warranty you will only have to buy them once. my bmx profiles are 4 years old and still straight.

  • Salt is WeThePeople's parts line as used on their OTP complete bikes. I've heard mixed things, I had a friend who rode them hard and needed new cranks after 4 months but then I also know a guy who had Salt cranks for over 2 years. If you do go for them, try and get ones with sealed bearings at least!

Primo Hollowbites are cheaper than Profiles aren't they?

  • yer im thinking about a set of maderas
    seem a good compromise
