has anyone used the major taylors? love how they look, but i like to ride with my hands where the hoods would be.
does the pretty curve mean they're uncomfortable?

Both photos originally posted by the-smiling-buddha in the Porn thread.
Excellent illustration of dual-purpose sit-up-and-beg, or hunker-down-and-race bars. Perfect.

i have them. they look great and are comfortable if a litle heavy. i had to angle them up a little bit to make the area where the hoods would be more horizontal.
the only other thing is that because a lot of the width is made up from the outward sweep of the drops the usable bit of the top is actually very narrow. especially if yr squeezing in a brake and light.

Cheers for the pointers!

Here are a particularly nice pair of tash bars I have always liked and been curious to know what they are (for some reason I can't copy the picture into the message so here is a link):

I want these bars.
Anyone ridden randonneur bars? Can you describe the difference between regular road drops when the curved tops and the flared flats. Are they really more comfortable?

this is my favourite of 'the lists'.

Just added this one to the List of Lists. I hadn't done it before, because normally I add the extra data (weight, length) before posting as a completed list. But I realise that its not essential, and its not a bad resource as it is.
Cheers Superprecise for the reminder.
