I saw these earlier - I guess they are a few readers of thewashingmachinepost on here. These shoes are lush. I want some in black though.

A long time coming i think. I had a dream about a pair of cycling shoes that looked like a well made pair of brogues but in the dream they looked more like a traditional pair of tan brogues. This is as close to it so far though

I just wish they did a Lorica (synthetic that Sidi use) version.

the sportifvo are only as good as the rubber soles, a bit like sidi's, which is sidi's only flaw.
as in the race and storica styles, look like they WILL last for years.

It makes them dual purpose though, so you can wear them at the velodrome during the day and then at the gentleman's dancing club of an evening. Perfect for dancing james. ;p

Sorry, bit off topic, was'nt it. Thing is, I only ever buy leather (fat mutant feet), and had bought a pair of kangaroo leather boots (I am planning on getting a pair of Lakes kangaroo leather cycle shoes in the summer, and wanted to try the leather out).

Anyways boots did'nt fit, sent them back, got some microfibre, thought bloody hell they're pretty comfy.

addidas do these modern old timey look shoes which im quite taken by. i think thier fairly rare and on the wrong side of expensive though.

really dont like the patent on those last ones, and the silver is shockingly bad. theyd look great if left matt.

the race dromartis are fucking amazing. im finding it hard to control myself and not buy them. i would also love them in black.
