£80 is more than what you need, look for an old road bike, ask your family, friend's etc. if they have any old one in the garage/shed that they no longer need, if it free, bingo, spend the rest on getting a fixed rear wheel.
if not, get a fixed rear wheel 2nd hand - keep watching this section for one to appear.

yea, there's that post about a guy going into blb and asking them about converting this bike he had with him into fixed gear. they said it would be £250!!
basically all you nead to do is buy an old racer, tear off all the gear shit and stick a new wheel on the back. When you're ready for your next bike you can start worrying about chainline and take it to the next level+1 what ed said

im after a 56cm, i already started to build a vintage fixed but ended up selling it all, that only needed a rear fixed wheel too, my problem is that i live too far away to be able to get most bikes, ive posted countless times on my local forums and am usually too slow to catch anything on here.
but yes, thanks for the advice and i will keep trying, but my ideal set up is a lush raleigh 56 cm then i'd love to purchase some mavic open pro's maybe on miche hubs or formula idk. =)

formula/system ex/sjs/ambrosio hubs are the best to go for if you're after the best budget hubs (they're all the same).
Looking for aCheap first bike, was gonna buy a fuji track but cant afford right now so something around £80 ish, or so. and might need a courier depending where it is, i live in southport.
