Yeah, I'm praying she managed to get her clothes trapped or something but that she's totally fine.

Sorry to bring the bad news but this morning I saw there was an incident with a HGV on Notting Hill Gate, I could see a multicolored lo pro with white bull horns crushed leaning against the railings.
I spoke to the traffic cop who told me a girl was trapped under the HGV but there was no fatality. I hope who ever it was is ok, I dont know anyone with that bike but more than likely someone here knows who it is. Ride safe everyone.hael, was this at a junction? Were there railings where the collision occurred?
Was she still trapped under it when you were there?
This must be a personal injury collision given the description of the bike. Let's hope it's not too serious! Terrible.

Oliver, is there any way you can get more information through the LCC?

Hi - for immediate information we rely on guys on the street like you. In the worst cases we get a brief description a week or so after the crash.

Not at this stage, too early, but our HGV group will take an interest. Members attend inquests for fatalities, and sometimes injured riders get in touch themselves. She may well come through here, too. I just hope she's OK and it was less serious than it looked, but it's unlikely, sorry to say.

It was further up at the crossing just past the Gate cinema, theres an Island that has railings around it and lights at either side, I am not sure if the person was crossing the road at that crossing or was clipped by the HGV. it was a straight part of the road but there are a few road works and it narrows to one lane.
