Seat-post size for an 80s Falcon frame?

Does anyone have a Falcon frame from the 80s? Any idea what the seat-post size would be? I've tried measuring it with paper and ruler but it's not that accurate a method. The previous owner thinks it could well be 26 or 25.4 but isn't 100% sure. If you know better please let me know as I need to get hold of a seat-post to finish off a build. Cheers!

From my small Falcon collection experince has shown:

531 Reynolds Single butted were usually 26.0 and the later double butted 27.2. Though most of my Falcons are a bit older that seemed to be the standard.
