it look interesting, thought I notice the top tube is unusually long, or is it just me?
-
• #3
dont like those wavy forks
-
• #4
slack geometry and i cant see the lugs/welds/brazing to see if they're any good either.
-
• #6
i do like the forks tough.. they are nice
-
• #7
i really dont like that at all. nothing special about it imo. looks a bit like a langster to me.

Wank!

• #9
not doing it for me sorry
white tyres .... tsk -
• #10
if they do a less hipsterized version it's probably a good bike to get around town on.

Wank!
For £375, very wank.

Aluminium? + Huge clearances + integrated h/set + lame attempt at hipness = massive fail.
-
• #13
What's wrong with Aluminium and integrated headsets? Luddite :-)
-
• #14
Aluminium, space for guards, integrated headset, fuck the hipsters = could be ok for a utility bike if they fuck off the silly bars, wheels, tyres.
-
• #15
Not the best option out there in terms of frames IMO.
-
• #16
Quite like it

Bet its lighter than a Plug

Looks chunky & cumbersome.
It looks heavy. I dont like the deep black rims at all, and the whole colour scheme is shit. Although not as shit as that SE beano-esque bike.
Those rough welds add tho the crude effect also.
A larger chainring would help the look considerably though I think.

I've seen some of their Cross and Road frames and they're not bad, pretty light and not badly made.
Obviously very modern though so not everyones cup of tea

I like the look of it, anyone know if it's a full carbon fork? From what I have seen of the Kinesis mountain bike frames they seem fairly well made and thought out, hopefully this one will be the same.

If my fixed hack bike died, I'd get one - with full guards, and occasionally a rack.
I've been a happy Kinesis customer twice already.

Anyone know what tubing it's made out of?
If it's anything like my Maxlight, Easton Ultralight tubed ATB, it'll batter the shit outta you!
The Convert2, based on the popular Racelight T frame, is a versatile machine capable of fixed, freewheel or fully geared setup. With removable tab mounts to give a clean look, we can see this model being very popular, with riders making this frameset their own. Frame and fork are £375.
i really like it, and the build here is NICE!
