Wanted: Spinergy or Corima 4 spoke

Clincher preferred - does anyone have one that they are looking to move on?

aye, have been waiting for a couple of weeks for the right one to come up and am getting impatient.. back to the bay of dreams it is then..

you should pay around £100 - £150 for a tub, I don't know what clinchers go for, about the same I suppose.

I saw a 650 corima 4 spoke go for about 75 sheets last month. I run a corima tub on the front, it's fine if you keep enough air in it and use a conti sprinter.

Spinergys are fine if you can inspect. There are some reports of them failing, presumably after having being used for tricks. should be cheaper than corima (but corimas are MUCH better wheels).

cheers, i saw that one but i'm looking for a front.. rears always seem to be a fair bit cheaper - can a rear be converted?

spinergy with rear cassette can be converted to fxed rear use a surly fixxer.

spinergy's are pretty strong, i've had a few. crazy dave the courier had a front run over by a car and it was fine.

Did you find a Corima four spoke front wheel. Have only just seen your ' wanted ' request. I have a HM tubular version ( High Modulus - more strongly built than the HR model ) which has had vitually no use, fitted with a 700 x 19 Continental Tempo. Propose to float it on the CTT website as suitable for track or timetrial use. Currently has track nuts but will take a QR skewer. If interested, contact me on bhn69@btinternet.com . Decided to sell only because we have a surplus of suitable wheels that include 12, 18 spoke front and front disc so really redundant for our needs !.Haven't decided on a price but all new with tub would cost circa £700+.
