Front or Rear hub?
AFAIK there are no shims, if it is really a problem, find somewhere that can cnc.

New hub would be easier... Lots of messing about otherwise... Buy the right size the first time, best lesson I ever learnt... Then the game is on...

If you want to use it just fit it, simply make sure the bike is resting on the wheels when you tighten the nuts, that way gravity will work its magic and the axle will be in contact with same part of dropout on both side and if you're frame is straight the wheel should centre OK. Once the nuts are tight it ain't goin' nowhere. The shims you hanker after would effectively be short lengths of tube with a wall thickness of <0.5mm, not much point IMO.

thanks for the advice guys, I think a new hub is the best answer- so I have a shiny hub with a 9mm axle for sale! (will post in correct section too)
I have just got a shiny new hub but has a 9mm axle, are there any shims that will convert this to a 10mm?
