CX18 is a little lighter, a little more box-section than the gl330.
32 spokes will cause you less hassle unless you already have the hubs..
but sometimes 28H track hubs go cheaper..
it's down to you.

those old tub rims ain't the stiffest in town, 32h might assist you in that dept, but not much. and it depends on your spoke pattern and hub type.
what I find with rims like that is they can take lots of tension, but need a hella lot of de-stressing. dunno why, just seems that way.

sTry and get yer mitts on a pair of Mavic Argent 7's (tin foil thick) or 10's if you want a really trick look ........ oh, and if you find a source let me know ..... haven't seen Argent 7's since 1984 ...... ah, nostalgia
I'm ordering a classic sprint rim and wondered which is better the Mavic GL 330 or the CX18 CD?
(The CX18 is available in a 32h, otherwise it'll be a 28h.)
