Looks cool... why aren't they running a prototype of their frame on their rims though...
-
• #3
Fair point - those are prototype 2009 rims...
you knows it! -
• #4
Apparently they are H+Son rims 2009 range according to Tzusing just not the super deep ones.
The frames alright, would probably wait for a bit as he had to iron out some problems with the rims may be the same scenario with the frame. -

if you ride as fast as you type - please stay near the kerb.

Im digging the lack of seatstay bridge
-
• #7
would look nice completely black out with a black set of their deep rims
-
• #8
dull.
-
• #9
it's pretty average.
-
• #10
I'm much more interested in the rims than the frame!
-
• #11
look pretty identical beside the slighty lack geomtry.

• #12
don't even think of comparing h+son to cannondale. BAD ED.

appearance wise my dear boy, only in appearance!

Wonder if they'll offer it in massive sizes like cannondale did? I'm sure you could get those up to a 63cm..
-
• #15
i wonder how long till these frames break with tricks or riding over curbs.
or more importantly the BLB mark-up, £500?
-
• #16
65cm
-
• #17
tall / short frames are the sex, but the initial run is very likely to be 54/56/58cm or 53/55/57cm to keep costs down.

all they probably do is simply replace $ with £ without even converting the currency.

I wonder how that affects (cue innuendo) rear-end flex?

65cm
Oh wow. a 65cm 1000 has just become my holy grail...
-
• #21
If tzusing did an initial small run of 47/56/63 I think it would sell out due to the current lack of available frames.

Wouldn't pay more than 200GN for one, what makes it any different from an IRO, pake, etc apart from the fact that it's a Canondale clone? Nickin' the geo really sucks IMO... Cannondale should fuck him in the arse hard... Doesn't feel right to me...

yeah, i know mate.
if they are nicking the can'o'ale geometry, fuck them, cunts.

Does it ever feel right getting fucked hard in the arse?

When it's done right...
The word is out - H plus Son will be releasing an aluminium track frame this year.
The geometry / look will closely resemble the venerable cannondale (C1000?) track frame of yore (early 90s) except for the cantilever dropouts and HT angle. He even wants to supply low-rake steel forks as per the original.
I do not agree with cloning the geometry, and seems like tzusing is keen to tweak it a bit despite braying hoardes of hipsters asking for an exact clone.

Man dem say price is undecided. should be 500-600+ dollars, and still deciding geometry / colours / whether plain guage / butted. Will be built in Taiwan.
The 1st prototype (pictured) doesn't have a seatstay bridge, tzusing reckons it doesnt affect it much, but production models will have it.
