Anyone heading up to the smoke for The Tweed Run?

Picked up a sweet tweed hunting suit with plus 4's before Christmas and I've been looking for an excuse to give it a run out.

If not he's a spitting image of a guy who was in the Bristol Bike Workshop months ago with his new conversion getting a bit of advice - I couldn't help butting in regarding cheap deep-drop calipers.

I had a right laugh looking through those photos - absolutely friggin' awesome. Will have to keep my eyes open in the charity shops etc. for the plus fours and a suitable jacket for myself for any future runs.

Think I just spotted you (Ward-a-mercy) in the post office (sans bike obviously) que in Bath this lunchtime as I was leaving lol. Those glasses are pretty distinctive :)

That would be me DanB. We were going to ride Bath to Bristol at some point weren't we? Do you fancy resurrecting the plan? I'm not sure if Steamroller's still around, he was going travelling soonish I think.

Yeah - I am planning to get back into riding to work again in the next couple of weeks - would be good to resurrect the group commute plan :)

what time do you fellas ride to bath in the morning and back in the evening? i have to do a few days work over there in a couple o weeks and it'd be nice to ride with crew if poss?

Tues to Fri I work from 8-5 so I leave bristol about 7am
Mon I work 9-6 so leave around 8am

I am down in Bedminster btw - dont know which end of town you guys are coming from?

eek, thats early eh. dont think i'll need to be there till 10 so i reckon im out. though i'll double check and if it'll work, i'll be in touch.

I tend to set off at 7.30am from Totterdown, then leave Bath around 6-6.30pm-ish.

Maybe a monday night could be the one then? What about next week?

I think next monday looks like it may well be pissing down with snow again... in which case I will almost certainly wimp out - as I dont really fancy sliding on my arse all the way to Bath
