For Sale: Bianchi Pista & early 50's Frejus track frame

Someone has just told me a pint of bitter costs more than £1.12 in London. So I need some pocket money. I'm coming down for the tweed run. I'll be getting down Friday evening, stopping in Camden. If someone wants either of the bikes below, off here, I can bring them down.
Otherwise I'll be putting them on the bay.

1950 Frejus track frame.
Some chips and marks, but generally very good.
Very light, Reynolds 531.
Full fluted chain stays, half fluted seat stays.
Undrilled brake bridge.
Frejus bb.
57cm c to top.
54cm top tube .
Built for 27". Which I can supply at an extra cost.

lovely frame, is it without its original forks?

Alas it is. Although I have some chrome 27" forks, but they have a lamp bracket and mudguard eyes. So not really in keeping.
I can have some forks made.

I may be interested in the pista, how tall are you and does the bike fit you well?

No, I'm 6'5". Try as I might, it won't fit me. It would suit someone 5'10". Give or take a few inches.

is £400 a pretty certain price for you? my budget is sitting around the 300 mark, think you can do anything for me?

Well I'd have to say buy and keep the post down for a bit, but I'm slightly biased.

I'm going to try out some sizes tomorrow to get a feel of what is may be like.

Yes, I can post the bike to Dublin, no problem. I have a proper bike box ready.

That's a hell of a price for a 1950 Frejus with no original forks, and no head badge - and in need of a full renovation! I would expect to pay £350 for a very good example complete with acceptable paint, original headbadge, transfers and Frejus chainset - which came as standard with the frame. Also, I am not convinced that it is 531.

PS. If anyone does buy it, I've a pair of Frejus forks. If your paying £350, the forks must be worth a ton.
