For Sale: Bob Jackson 57cm frame, close to new

Too tall frame must go to make place for smaller replacement. Frame was bought in November 08, paint in perfect condition, bought from BLB by a non forum friend. Frame goes with fork, head set (Shimano Ultegra) and bottom bracket (Sugino).

The frame alone was 430, would like to get something around that including mounted bb and headset.

That is a nice looking bike, alas I don't need another bike, good luck.

What sort of price are you looking at?

does it have bar spin clearance?

Ordering a Bob from the factory, It's not the price that hurts... it's the wait for them to build it.

Some people would say that's a dull build. But I love it. I've not seen many others with only the headbadge.

how long does a bob take, once ordered to your door?

My otp frame took a week from ordering to my door. I was pretty stunned and I don't think thats the norm. Speak to a guy called Daryl there he was really friendly and helpful - unlike a few who work there who are kinda the opposite!

last week they told me 2 weeks for otp with no chrome.....

Depends if they have the size ready made, I think.
Mine was in stock and took a couple of weeks.

I emailed them last week, most frames sizes are ready to go just need to be painted. I want to know what their mink pink looks like on a frame.

I was told** "7 or 8 weeks"*. But those must have been a special kinds of northern week (further from the sun?)* because it took 10+ if i remember correctly.

That was just under a year ago.

a month or so to wait for a bike is alright if youe know what your getting is good.

A month is damn good. i've been waiting for my mercian for over 4!!!
Should be coming in the next 10-11 days tho! I cannot wait!

As I understand it, the backlog is down, pretty much off the peg again, about 2 weeks turn around again now.
