Wanted: A track frame and have a bike to swap

ok so im after a track frame, and i have my current ride to swap for it, only a conversion i know but she still rides sweet as a nut
maybe a little money your way but not loads as money is tight
the bike wont come with the cranks or bb and also the plane :) and lever and grips but i can give you everything else and have replacements that i will fit for all other bits so it will be complete and ready to ride and will be ready to ride,
rear wheel is fixed only and has no braking surface, not sure who its by but ill give it a wipe and check later. and ill throw in the lights, and if ive got a better saddle ill grab it and fit it tomorrow. any questions just ask

To be fair I'll have to agree with Murtle and Snoops mate, it's just a conversion, there aren't any noteworthy bits on it and it's pretty rough looking, I'd say your best bet would be to give it a whopper cleaning and some T-Cut, maybe even de-sticker it 'cause it looks like they're a bit wrecked and polish up your seatpost/ bars/ stem/ hubs/ spokes, the works!! Try and remove any rust at all and then repost some new pics.

It's not going to cost you anything, other than maybe a couple of quid for some metal polish/ auto polish/ T-Cut and it'll really improve your chances of making a few bob for this bike 'cause it looks like it would make a nice bike for a beginner or for someone's polo bike/ beater but you've not got a chance of making decent money for it in the condition it's in above.

thanks for all your creative and not so creative criticism, what a helpful bunch most of you aint. well i like my bikes ratty which is why its like it is but point taken nahg, ill give it a clean up and wack it on the bay as bikes as bad as thiis will make a ton all day, just so folk know im willing to put up 60 towaards any offers

If you really think it will, your dream will never happen, 60 quid plus a bike worth 50 tops, will not a track frame get you.

actually, on closer inspection, you may have harden hubs if they are a matching pair, could fetch quite a few £££'s.

i think the airplane on the handle bars might make it more valuable, certainly more aero.

Hmm just musing here -saddle/pedals/chainset/chain/front light/aeroplane meet with approval, the rest is history IMHO

as for the folk who say this would make 50, you need to sell a few more bikes on egay, ive takesn a bike exactly like this wiped it down, fitted a freewheel and made 120 off it, thats ebay for you people always get bid happy

after a little research, rear hub is a 1950's constrictor hub, and front is a mailard hub ...... for anyone who gives a flying fudge

rear hub is worth £30 by itself, front is french crap.
