I might add that I dont live in London, but would probably count a game of squash a valid reason to come over. Im weird like that.

There are quite cheap rates at both the community centres in Hackney, Clissold Community Centre I think its called, and Hackney Community Centre. We signed up down there recently but cant remember the exact cost. Something like £20 per year, then a fiver a game of something??

ive been to the finsbury one. good friendly crowd and good mix of skill levels. there is always one or two guys that organises the matches on the day. they make sure everyone gets a couple of matches in. give them a go.

I run a squash league at work but have not played sqush for months due to a foot injury which then forced me off the bike. Give me a shout if you fancy a game I'm a member at sadlers wells gym (city uni). It won't be the first time I get beaten by a girl.

I'm disappointed. I thought this thread was going to be about orange squash.

I'd be up for this- I used to play when I was at Uni but have not really played since (a couple of games in the past ten years really).
Name a place and time and I shall be there.

I'm definitely up for some squash. I bought myself a racquet a little while ago then lost my playing partner. If there are enough of us we could start a small league.

I love squash...you only have to go 5 steps to find the ball when you miss it, and it's warm...not played for a couple of years and have lost my racquet on the way but I'd love a game.

Sounds like we have enough people to make it interesting, when shall we play then?
I nominate Wednesday night.

this makes me very happy. stelle, i have an extra racket! we can make a squash league... awesome! dammit, wednesday night is not so good for me personally cause i babysit after class & then i like going to easts. we can work something out though for sure. ved, you'll probably beat me, i'm horribly uncoordinated but i really do love to play! yippee :)

I'd be interested in some squash, but I'm awful. Should be joining Highbury/Cally Road leisure centres next month though, so might be able to swing something re: court hire after then.

I used to play when I was younger but haven't played in a while,
count me in!

mmm. getting beaten by a girl....

Finding somewhere central to play would be good- I'm in Greenwich and LPG is points North for example, so a court that we could all get to with equal facility would be great.

Squash? surely there must be better ways of spending an hour or two? I'm not very competitive, can you tell?
does anybody play squash?
i haven't played in a year or so but i'm going to bring my rackets back to london and i've found online that there are some very reasonably priced "pay & play" facilities offered by aquaterra - one in finsbury, one in holloway.
as i wrote, it's been a year, so i can't guarantee the fastest matches at first... or if you've never played before i'd be totally glad to teach you, i really think it's the most fun game ever and i am pretty psyched to get back on it. so yeah - squash anybody??
