I already had this page open when I saw the thread funnily enough. I'm gonna test it out on my next club run. Sounds interesting. Like you said, doesn't sound right, but he's pretty adamant about it.

sounds very interesting but as pointed out in Joes blog and the Biomac site it is probably most useful for Tri and TT style riding as cornering and fast acceleration seams to be a problem. but very good point, especially as I am sitting here with aching calves after a 10K run having done some laps at RP yesterday.

How? Do you have to drill new holes and move the plate or what?

yeah, requires a bit of shoe modification, which to be honest puts me off.
I spose if you have an old pair of shoes handy and don't mind drilling holes in them might be worth a punt.
Imagine not much use for proper track use, but for the longer rides i can def see some benefit, though spose you almost have to relearn your muscles...
after following off from some links on another thread found an interesting article about mounting your cleats in the mid sole rather than the ball of your foot here
anyone tried it? seems a little counter intuitive but the more i think about it the more interested I get...
