I think Liverpools season will be over by xmas even after the millions and millions of pounds they have invested in there team lately, I would be very suprised if they make it into the top 6 next season, I cant wait for the moment the realisation sinks in that king kenny the saviour cant do anything for them, they will have no one to blame, and will probably turn on the new yank owners.

What the fuck is going on at Sunderland? They're as poxy as we are and yet they're signing our best players, have a £9m goalie, John O'Shea is there for a medical, and if they'd have held on to Darren bent they'd have one of the best strikers in the bottom half of the top league in the country!
Come on Blues spend some fucking money!

They're about to sign Vaughan from Blackpool too.

I wondered this ^
I imagine it will end with them going bust, getting docked loads of points and being relegated.

Henderson and Bent between them were sold for nearly £40 million so they probably have a little money to spend.

Sunderland ALWAYS buy United rejects.
David Jones: The one from Wolves? Good left foot, liked him.

Sunderland = Man United rejects
Phil Bardsley, Keiran Richardson, John O'Shea, Wes Brown, Frazier Campbell
If they sign Gibson as well that's most of their starting lineup. Another Brucey bonus for Baconface.

Still, Leicester eh?
Look at all their signings.Another tough East Midlands slog I think.

They're the QPR of this season. Except with a plastic identikit stadium.
Rumour is we're signing Billy Sharp too. Good championship player. Dave Jones is the one with the sweet left peg yeah, that free-kick he scored last season was a belter. Unfortunately he played for United too, so he'll probably end up at Sunderland. Or Peterborough.

The Benzema Arsenal rumours are getting stronger by the day, I wouldn't spend 27M on a player that flopped at Real Madrid that's for sure, oh wait he's French...
-
• #36717
He didn't really flop though.
When Higuan got injured, Murreen was reluctant, but his scoring record in the second half of the season was very strong.
I'm surprised that he's still considered surplus to requirements tobehonest.

john O'shea medical at sunderland
Benzema is a good player 27mil wenger would not like paying that. But think he would get more out of that type of player than Mourinho. -

That would give Madrid the funds to go after Tevez though. Wenger will never spend that kind of money thats the trouble.

He's Florentino Perez's buy and Mourinho got his way getting another striker, the real reason why he had a strong second half of the season is because he hardly played the first half, most of the other players were knackered and suddenly made him look, actually, quite good. He's a decent inside-forward but that I wouldn't say he represents good value at that sort of money. He's not the type of player that wins you trophies either. On that note, he'll fit in quite well at Arsenal...

^eh?
He won the league 4 times with Lyon, and they won the copa del ray this season.
He's a trophy magnet! that's almost ibra level.
-
• #36723
^eh?
He was instrumental in their 2007/2008 league win, I'll give you that. It was also their last league win. He was good in 08/09 but it didn't win them the league that year. To credit him with 05/06 and 06/07 is like saying that Chelsea won theirs due to Salomon Kalou.
As for the Copa del Rey, it's about as valued as the League Cup here and you can bet your house on it
that it wasn't a consolation for missing out on the league last year.To call him a trophy magnet like Ibra is going a bit far.

34 appearances, started in 20 and 14 times used as a sub. 15 goals to 84 shots, conversion rate of 18%, not sure where that leaves him, bit better then Charlie Adam I guess...

YouTube - LEICESTER CITY VS REAL MADRID : VTR LEICESTER CITY VS REAL MADRID ( July 30 2011 )
Gonna be another roller-coaster season. Sven's been splashing the cash too, singlehandedly trying to raise the average price of a Championship player...
The guy on the left used to be an ok player...
