No...with a bit of face paint as in Clockwork Orange with a bit of Beethoven we will kick the shit out of all comers!
-
• #6
or kick the comers out of their shit... or shit comers for their kicks .... they won't know what hit 'em as long as we come out of the sun painted orange and bite their faces to Beethoven

Crash hats ARE compulsory for this cyclosportive.....that is official!....I am still in, any one else?....or have civil liberties been trampled on?
-
• #9
Ok we'll look out for some , or make something creative out of cornflakes packets and white glue the night before

Danish track hats!....the sort that would not stop a fart in a collander!

I'm pro choice as far as helmet wearing goes for day-to-day, social and utility riding. As a cyclosportive rider I would recommend them. I generally see 2 or 3 bad cases of road rash per sportive, plus the occasional unconscious body.

I will be wearing mine....I don't like em...but with lots of other riders about...it makes sense...

I have no confidence in the ability of bike helmets protecting anything more than a superficial impact anyway. Better to equipt myself with a new stainless steel head and butt oncoming lorries.

thanks. there was supposed to be a picture of an armour plated butt there. I'd repost it but I can't be arsed.
This cyclosportive has been pointed my way from someone on the forum who watched the videos I posted a few days ago....The cyclosportive uses some of the roads used in the vids.....so i thought we could do it.....and the start is just down the A14....costs £20 but food is provided..showers too....seems to be bit of a challenge hill wise and there is a choice of 50 or 80 miles.....This could be fun?
