  • **UPDATE: Frame has been SOLD!

**Check your PMs those who dibsed things!
    **
    DIBS:**

provenrad: dura-ace 7600 cranks (if I can bare to part with them - I've PM'd you how much I'd sell them for if I do sell them)

    gizmond: trispoke (£PM'd)
    2nd dibs: teddy

    elvis:650c clincher (£65)

    skoota: pedals/clips/straps @ £16

    Harry.Major: Frame, maybe? SOLD

I'm not riding this bike enough to justify having it, so it's up for sale, depending on offers. Willing to split, or will sell whole if the price is right.

This bike is most definitely USED, but everything works fine and it rides like a freaking dream.

    Spec:

Frame: Custom built Joe Waugh Low profile TT, track ends, 2 previous owners. Respray by argos (black satin, showing signs of use). 650c fork, cinelli BB, drilled for brake. No toe overlap whatsoever.

Drivechain: Dura Ace 7600 cranks (50t ring), Shimano BB, EAI 19t sprocket, HKK vertex chain. All 1/8

Saddle/seatpost: Yellow Rolls, campag aero jobby.

Handlebars etc: Yellow ourys, black risers, weird BLB bought fluted stem (70mm), pink dirt harry, green cable, gunmetal 105 caliper.

Wheels: FOUR 650c front wheels will be included with bike; 2 cool tubular spoked jobbies, 1 spoked clincher, 1 650c trispoke tub complete with barack obama sticker (pictured, minus sticker). Rear is a yellow deep V, showing signs of use, laced to a single fixed phil wood hub (32h). You could be the proud owner of the least shiny phil wood in existence. Don't worry, it's not tarnished, just fucking filthy.

Would suit a rider of about 6ft height. This is an unusual lopro, but amazing. Seriously, I love this bike and will be sad to see it go, but I just don't ride the damn thing enough. I've put in a lot of time and a not insignificant amount of money into this machine, so I can't let it go for a steal. Please PM me with offers.

If someone wants the frame only, that's fine, but I'll probably keep some of the components (cranks/bb, seatpost) for myself if that happens. The rest (wheels, handlebars, saddle) would be up for grabs though.

    Thanks for looking!

    Alex xxxxxxxxyz

  • very nice bike,
would you consider selling the spoked 650c clincher?

  • yes, but only if it gets split.

If the frame goes on its own, i have no real interest in riding another low profile for a while so I'll be selling off all the silly sized wheels too.

    Thanks! :)

  • Oh, it has mks sylvans with black anodized metal toeclips now (size L)

  • how many aerospokes do you have at the moment?

  • What size it is?

  • Thats a real shame that Alex, I remember you beat me to the frame, you went to Cambridge for it didn't you? I'd have all of it if I have the money. Good luck boyo

  • what a beautiful lump of marmite!

  • What size it is?

I don't think any of the sizing will really make sense to be honest. The way it is set up it fits me, and i'm 6ft tall exactly. However, it has quite a long top tube, so with more seatpost showing it could probably fit someone taller. I need a stem that short to be comfortable.

BoBoB: if the price isn't right i'm keeping it all to myself, don't you worry! This isn't a sale out of desperation, just out of guilt for not riding it enough.

  • how many aerospokes do you have at the moment?

456,432 all in the 'hot lunch' ltd edition colour.

  • Now you sell me cranks!
    Please thank you Sir.

  • oooo prav, that's a toughie, I do love them dearly... if I was to split it would take an act of God for me to sell them and not horde them jealously in my aerospoke-shaped lair of doom.

...but you have dibs, anyway. :)

  • how much for the tunnock badge?

  • 1 tea cake

  • you love them + i love them.
How about this - lets both call them and see who they come to..?
I can get them for £120ish nos, but the fact you have used these here makes them historically significant.

  • I'm tempted by the frame, fork and trispoke. How much would that be? I doubt its in my price bracket, but just maybe...

  • I'll take the '650c trispoke tub complete with barack obama sticker' if you split, please thank you kind sir.

  • Sure thing G, I'll throw in a spare tub as well because i'm that nice.

It also has a vans sticker, and a roberto bycicletas sticker, and a multi grooves sticker that has unfortunately half ripped off (due to AWESOME SPEED)

    Current dibs:

provenrad: dura-ace 7600 cranks (if I can bare to part with them - I've PM'd you how much I'd sell them for if I do sell them)

    gizmond: trispoke (£PM'd)

Cohen: 650c clincher (£not sure yet)

    skoota: tunnocks badge (£teacake)

NB: I'll not actually be in London till after new year, so any deals shall be done from the 7th Jan onwards.

  • what's the ballpark for the rear?

  • I'll not actually be in London till after new year.

Are you back in newcastle for christmas?

I might be interested in the rear wheel depending on price...

  • 2nd dibs on the 650 clincher ASM, if you split.

shit sorry about this, i totally forgot, i bought a guiness wrapper off of jonny for a guiness, shit.

Its out of my budget now, although i would love a new build to put it on.

  • shit sorry about this, i totally forgot, i bought a guiness wrapper off of jonny for a guiness shit.

guiness arse. lovely drink shame about the after effects. it's the nitrogen they use to gas it that's the problem

  • For the rear: £110 with choice of 17/19t EAI, tube, armadillo 23c (with a good bit of life left in it).

Optional: Rim/hub/spokes cleaned, velocity stickers removed.

If I were you i'd keep the dirt and stickers, adds to authenticity ;).

Philxthomas: I am back in Newcastle at the moment, but I'm off again on Tuesday, back again around the 31st, then off again to London (for the HH jumble), then back to Newcastle, then back to London on the 7th....

If you want the wheel and entwidomela drops out, I can bring it back with me no problem (around the 1st/2nd Jan).
