Black steel toe clips..?

Just snapped my black MKS alloy toes clips after one months use! Anyone know where i can get some steel toe clips in black? Also, anyone know of any decent pedals in black?

TdV had two pairs of black alloy clips when I went in there on Saturday, they only had one when I left.

My LBS *(out here in Cheltenham) *have boxes of M size. £7 I think. Some Italian NOS, Bellina maybe.

I use them they're fine.

If your pulling tricks/falling off a lot try plastic - you can stand on them.

The alloy ones are a pain IMO

Btw, how the hell do you guys get back into clips when you're at a traffic light?
Obviously trackstanding means that problem is avoided but I take at least a good minute riding before I get my foot in properly..

Practice, you should be able to get your feet in at the first (sometimes second) attempt.

those mks clips suck. i mean really, they suck. they snap almost instantly. it's like they weren't designed to actually be used. brick lane bikes used to have those awesome soma clips in black. not sure if they still do.

Snapped mine pretty quick too, and now rocking with an almost identical pair in plastic - much better...

Oh, and cost a pound from Brixton Cycles...

Soma make black ones.. expensive though

My black MKS are alloy and are wank too, so fuckin bendy - hardly used them and I know they'll snap soon, so RE the original post I'm also after some black STEEL clips

They differ from those i've fitted to my bike in that the logo and size are on stickers (as you can see in the photos). These peel off easy enough.
