Bike shop for fork cutting and threading?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere I might be able to get a set of forks cut and threaded? So far I've only asked in Ben Hayward and they wanted about 35 quid for it. Is it possible to do it for less anywhere?

Hi Mate,
Try Rick or Andy of Bicycle Ambulance in the basement of Park street car park . Rick said depending on whether the forks have existing threads which you want to continue or needs threads started on virgin steel on the steerer , he charges about 12 quid . They're open 10am - 5pm tues to sat .
