I used to listen to it all the time, but don't so much anymore because of all the not-just-playing-music type stuff that goes on. imho it's still the best station though - unless you like listening to 5 adds per song on Xfm.

i listen every day at work and i'd say it's the only station you can listen to daily without getting homicidal/suicidal. There's not really another sation with such a wide remit as far as music goes. Where else can you get neil young, stakka huminoid and queens of the stone age in 30 mins?
But i do agree that there's a bit too much chat sometimes in the morning, though it quite often makes me laugh so it's not all bad. Overall i'd say it's without competition if you like music and dislike genres.

Good tunes CG, the new Animal Collective EP is good too.
I usually listen to Radio 4, it's really interesting. I am the worst teenager ever, I will accept that.
My parents listen to Xfm quite a lot, but the presenters are drooling fucks, and the music is generic indie.
For a touch of class, 6 til 8 every weekday morning, Classic FM. -

er.. you're in a room...
er...walk forward..
More like BBC 6 Talk! I've finally got a desk where I can listen to music at work without being told to turn it off, and all morning it's just some bloke talking... with a record every 45 minutes or so. What a dissapointment. Is it usually like this? I'd heard it was a great music station.
Sorry for the rant.
