Nope, that's generally what the term "aero" is used for in terms of brake levers.

well...used to be. Nowdays it probably does literally mean they're more areodynamic...

The cables can be run exiting through the top or through the back.

These have only been used with the cables exiting at the rear.

If you want to run them vintage stylee you'll just need to make a hole in the top of the rubber. None of these levers has had this done.
