am fine, it happened as I was pulling away from a stop. my foot just landed on the floor, i looked down, and there was a crank attached to my foot! it looks like there has been a crack propogating there for a little while (discoloration), but it went unnoticed as i perform approximately zero maintenance on my bike.

haha must have been a bit strange for onlookers to see you walking about with a crank stuck to your foot :)

they're probly better than those unipack cranks you have on your bike

thanks for the thought, but i'lm going to replace the entire chainset as the left arm taper is slightly rounded as well.

Had this happen to my crank back in the summer.

It hurt like hell for a bit! A bust crank at 20mph+ while out of the saddle isn't a good combo.

ouch!

^^ That happened to a mate of mine on his road bike, crushed his balls on the stem and had to walk 5 miles home in the rain.
