Fook Me...

it's cold outside! Just been bombing the hills of Hampsted with numb toes, and fingers almost frozen to the bone, barely able to operate my front brake.
On my way back through West Hampsted, and all but two minutes from home, I'm burning my last bit of energy off by racing some Pizza delivery guy on a moped, and winning.
All of a sudden some stupid bitch in a big Merc. heading towards me decides to pull into a parking spot on the opposite (my) side of the road.
I'm going full tilt straight for her front bumper, moped guy is trying to overtake me on the outside and the gap between Merc. and the parked is getting increasingly smaller.
All I could think was 'not the new frame, please not the new frame'! I knuckled down, squeesed thru the gap with an inch each side to spare, popped out the other side leaving Mr. Moped stuck beeping away on his pathetic horn.
Anyway, I'm now home enjoying a beer and crumpets!

It's good to ride bikes! :)

i love racing them and women on 50cc peds are always good to race ( by which i mean race past because they're normally too scared or confused to put the pace on )

Haha! This guy was at full throttle, his moped was screaming but I wouldn't let him get past.

@Murtle, the Royal Free is at the top of a 'hill' . . . you'd never make it. ;)

racing down or up?

It was flat when racing the moped, no gravity advantage, but I'd been up, down and back up again!
