• I've recently got both on my bike and I don't normally skid that much anyway as it tends to start nackering my knees again from old skateboard injuries, but has anybody got experience of skidding about on either of these? Cheers

  • they will be destroyed under the pressure of your tremendous manhood

  • They are absolute cunts.
    are they still there?

  • "How much abuse can Dura Ace track cranks and Mavic Ellipse wheels take?"

About 6 to 7, possibly 8 if you treat them well.

  • cheers chris, anybody else?

  • Agh

  • the serious anwser is that you will be fine, the cranks are some of the best in the world. i don't know much about the wheels, but skidding is not that much more pressure then going forward.

  • I know nothing about the wheels but the cranks are solid. Used a set on a polo bike for 8 months having ridden them hard through London and the dales for 2 years previous to that.

  • cheers guys

the Dales, how I miss them. I'm from Leeds. Cheers

  • if they are fine for 15 stone powerhouse sprinters to use putting the power down from a standing start at well over 90 gear inches then why should you worry?

Oh, the whole then/than thing. Got you.

  • I miss the scenery and the ridingm form living in the dales. Definitely don't miss the people and the attitude.
Lived in Leeds for a while too. Nice enough place but some of the inhabitants were a tad upsetting.

  • They still make you fill out a Ridingm Form? Whatever next.

  • I wanted Goldtec on Open Pros but it was taking too long so I've run the Miche cranks with Mavic Ellipse for 18 months over London potholes with no problem - the wheels haven't even gone out of true in that time. 14.5st - I have heavy bones.
