  • i'm crap with prices - how much are you looking to spend...

  • Sorry to jump in on your thread xsheepx, but....

I'm looking for a frame for my 5 2" missus as well, so if xsheepx is priced out of the market, or drops out, I may be interested.

Obviously I wouldn't enter into a bidding war, but if you're not keen xsheepx, I might be.

  • i'm trying to keep the budget for the whole thing to under £200....

i'm no good with prices for shit, especially a lowpro. jst let me know what you think is fair and if it's too much you have stuan waiting in the wings!

  • hmmm 50cm is prolly still ok esp with the 650s, but no brake holes.... it will be used as a simgespeed rather than a fixed....

  • Is there not a headtube sticker... with a bike shop name?
Unfortunately i cant remember what it said, i think it was middlesex or somewhere. Sheep has just had it powder coated.

From what i know, it was just a small one man operation operating from out the back of a bike shop about 20 or so years ago.

  • Pat Rohan 451 Rayners Lane Pinner Middlesex I bought bikes/frames there and worked for a time too in my college days- as did the lads of the Bike shop in North Harrow..

Ron Thomas worked out the back of the shop building frames of distinction with the Pat Rohan stickers and Ron Thomas on the top of the seat stays. The previous builder for Pat was Edwards of I think Camberwell.

Pat went bust eventually, but the shop is still there to this day as a bike shop, but called something else now, can't remember off hand but its crap bikes for crap money now.

Tony Gowland (he of Six Day fame and fortune) rode a Pat Rohan Track bike to the win the White Hope sprint etc in about 1970 ish- that frame is still around to this day somewhere- the top tube was flattened where the bars swung around by stack ups and filled with brass. I bought it/sold it/bought it back/sold it to a mate who raced on it then sold it on again.

PM me for more...oh happy days!

Ron Thomas was also seeing to Mrs Pat Rohan's needs too.......
