why do people only think of bob jackson and mercian when looking for a new frame
there are hundreds of frame builders out there ( some cheap some expensive admittedly maybe bobby j's are the only ones who do frames at a decent price )
go through fixedgeargallery.com / velospace and look at the vast array of bikes out there, keep flicking till you see something you like and then go for it -

theres almost too much choice TBH. I'd try to narrow it down
Geometry? (track, semi track, road)
Material?
if steel (lugged, TIG, fillet brazed)If you are transfering from a previous build, this will narrow it down for you.
If I were to buy a new frame this might tempt me
Soma rush
with track geometry, and made from TIG welded Tange prestige.

Branch out, get something cool.
Been riding my conversion for the past 4 years and feel its time upgrade. As I have already upgraded the components I feel the frame is the next step. I would like to spend no more than £500. Any recommendations. I would like something that will last me a long time as this would be a big purchase for me financially.
My initial thoughts are Mercian or Bob Jackson. But I also like the styling of the Condor Lavaro (though it is way out of my price range).
