The BBC can do better than people like that
she sounds like a cretin.
for example, Robert Elms is on the same station from 12 till 3 and is a keen cyclist and cycle commuter, you don't hear him attacking other road users in such a vitriolic and unbalanced manner.

Done.
I found JoAnne Good's ill informed comments on cyclists offensive and insulting. Cycling in London is dangerous enough as it is without having BBC presenters telling listeners that cyclists being knocked down by lorries should "let that be a lesson".
Would Ms Good care to personally tell that to the families of the nine cyclists killed by lorries in London so far this year?
If anyone should show some humility it is Ms Good whose craven and cavalier attitude to human life is despicable.

sorry, I tried but I genuinely couldn't listen to more than ten minutes of that. I spend my life trying to avoid that side of life. She sounds like she needs a good hard slap like so many of those kind of radio presenters. When she refers to Bernie Ecclestone as "that little man" you know she just loves being a total cunt and thinks she sounds ballsy and cool doing it. So I think anyone who listens to her views and nods sagely is beyond redemption anyway.

'we are breeding a very bold generation of cyclists'
True, and in my mind this is only a positive thing. Also true that many of them are irritating, but at least they're irritating and alive. I'm glad that cyclists are asserting their place on the road, it's a shame that some people don't recognise that change must come on the roads as well as in other areas of life.

Bit worried that these things turn into mass hysteria, with people listening with the expectation of being offended. Who is this woman? I've never heard of her, and she's on a show with Paul Ross, a man who also makes a living selling crap on shopping channels. Cyclists should be above getting in a fight with these people.

If you haven't seen it already, check out this thread over on MT.
The writer of the article is urging people to make an online complaint to the BBC (link given) about comments made by Joanne Good on Monday morning's BBC London breakfast show (radio).
She spewed a lot of anti-cyclist poison, and it would be good if she got at least a slap on the wrist from her bosses.
