Is cycling for losers?

I love riding my bike but come on, it is a bit childish isn't it, especially cycle couriering, riding bikes all day, surely its time to grow up and either get a car or catch the bus like everyone else.

I can't see that driving cars is any more grown-up than riding bicycles, if anything it makes people behave in a more childish manner. Cycling forums however are a different matter
