  • Forget the US Election, or discussions on the wereabouts of "hipsters", surely the only topic that is hot at the moment is that of the X-Factor.

Is anyone out there into this? I missed the live show last night because I was out on the tiles but seriously, the series is getting crazy:

How did Austin get kicked off on Saturday night? Who voted against him?? Why didn't Ricky Gervais get the boot?

How long is Rachaels "Bad Man Girl turned Gud / doing it for ma fam" act going to hold? The girl is rubbish, I can't even understand what she's saying half the time.

Louis Walsh x JLS gangbang, is it going to happen?

I'm liking this series, the star is quite obviously Laura White. She's got a belting voice, can hit the high C's and get down and dirty too, she's brunette, she's got some shape AND she's northern. Hardbody. If I ever see her, she's getting my phone number straight away.Seriously.

What are your thoughts on this people?

    Laura White for the win?

  • Andy, you're a lovely bloke mate but you don't half watch some shite! You sure you're not a bird?
Next you'll be putting up threads on Big Brother! Oh.....

    Laura White, 17
Born in Manchester, Laura has been singing and playing the piano since she was a little girl. She has never had a professional lesson but at the age of 15 yrs old, she started singing in Jazz Bars. Her dad acts as her agent and she has been doing this for the past six years. At 17 yrs old, Laura won a radio competition where she got the chance to sing in front of an audience of 15,000 people when Peter Kay switched on the Bolton Christmas lights.

    CHUG_IT are you sure?

  • I'm more than sure, she's amazing: http://www.laurajawhite.co.uk/gallery/index.html

  • I played rugby and was on my uni course with one of the guys from JLS and he's genuinely the nicest man in the world.. Pretty surreal to see him getting so bummed on a TV show..

  • I'm more than sure, she's 17

    Fixed.

  • oh Andy..no no no
get down the gym and do some more reps to get it out of your system...

  • I just got back from my gym just then and they were playing the "Hero" xfactor x helpforheroes colab whilst i was in there...

proof that you CANNOT escape this party.

  • I right there with you on the series and on Laura. I love X-factor. There, I've said it.
Though Diana's pretty good as well.

Ricky Gervais-a-like is only still in it because of his 'singing for the wife who died in childbirth' factor.

Personally, I usually tune out after the numpty audition section, but for some reason I can't tear myself away this year...

  • What would your significant others say if they knew you were ogling a girl that hadn't even completed her A levels?

    [EDIT]

Probably something along the lines of "at least he's stopped fantasizing about bikes."

  • well, my mum hasn't completed her A-levels either..

  • In the context of the thread,

well, my mum hasn't completed her A-levels either..

that is just twisted, your own mother?

  • shaping up to be a WILD weekend.

  • Dude......

    WILD WEEKEND-
3 days no sleep @ trash city, a corn-fed harvest mouse, a hooker, a nun, a Flemish peasant woman, whips, chains, whistles, yo-yos, a circus midget, my grandma riding by on a bicycle giving me the finger and a duck.

    NON WILD WEEKEND
SAT X-FACTOR LIVE show - Mariah Carey special
    SUN X-FACTOR REPLAY

  • this show is now officially dead to me.

I've only just come to terms with Laura's departutre; and the fact that I'm now faced with a lineup that contains someone who could easily audition for the So Solid Crew, Ricky Gervais and some little Irish boy who winks at me when singing is making me think that my Saturday nights will now be filled with misery.

I refuse to watch it... Diana Vickers must surely now be the hot favourite to win?? Is there any point in voting if it's all just rigged anyway??

Incidentally, Big Brother auditions start in the new year, is anyone up for going to the London one? I auditioned two years ago and it's actually quite a lot of fun (even if you do have to hang out with 2,000 bellends in a big hall).

  • I might enter next year, I can't sing but I might kill all my family and go that route.

  • Tynan come to the Big Brother auditions with me, go on...

  • I auditioned two years ago

You never?!! What did you sing?

  • holding out for a hero??
    i want muscles???

  • It was Big Brother not the x-factor.

I told them that my reasons for going in were not to meet people but simply because I wanted a 10 week holiday on Channel Four and that I was going to spend the whole summer working out, sunbathing, and digging my way under the wall with a spoon a la Great Escape.

    They weren't interested.

  • "Incidentally, Big Brother auditions start in the new year, is anyone up for going to the London one? I auditioned two years ago and it's actually quite a lot of fun (even if you do have to hang out with 2,000 bellends in a big hall)."

    lol. comedy gold.

  • I used to fucking hate the x-factor.

Then, over easter weekend, I went to Canterbury Hockey Festival and Ben Mills was playing on the first night.

    He rocked my world.

    X- factor rules.

    There, I have said it.

  • I worked on The X Factor.

  • did you meet ben?

  • Ben?
