Bottom Bracket thread type?

I have an Argos TT frame sitting next to me and it's missing a bottom bracket. Anybody know what thread Argo used during the early 90's?

I'm probably wrong here but I seem to recall (through a fog of lunch time beer and old age) that if it is a 68mm shell then it is more than likely English thread.

You could run a thumbnail along the thread and work out if is clock or counter clock- that would be a lot more reliable than my rememberances however?
