Good work Skully - you any good with bawbags?
I've got a fair bit of loose skin that could do with a trim up. -

is that a piece of chain i see tieing the saddle together?
if so, very ingenious -

Dude, sorry, I aint no private dick. Bad luck on the theft.
I recommend a ball bearing in the allen hole to prevent opportunists nicking them.
But I'm starting to think they're a bit substandard saddles anyway, swifts, you're best off without that. Why do they pucker so quickly? They seem to need tieing before breaking in. Buy a Team Pro and chop it.

Put my Fizik Arione on the beater but much prefer the Swift TBH - good comfortable short journey saddle. One thing tho - I don't seem to be able to put my saddle back far enough - I'm right on the end of the rails and still it doesn't seem to sit onto my sit bones. Layback seatposts, the merits thereof: discuss. -

if so, very ingeniousTa. It was a Eureka moment, just before nodding off to sleep the other night. Thought it might be a nice SkullyChops signature.

Skully - I'll get you to do one for me! I really don't like using knives (this is only partially a joke), so this saves me a likely trip to the hospital.
Just have to decide which to chop - grey team pro, or black b17 narrow.

How much for one of these?

Here's a massive pic of underneath. The chain links I am using are 'MADE IN ENGLAND' from a vintage chain. WAC!
Obviously some of you would prefer a NJS chainlink alternative. You can supply me a chain link you want to use, if you like.

SKULLYCHOPS BLOG
A chopped and tied ''swallow'' on a Brooks Team Professional in green, this one pictured is Jonny's summer polo tournamant pressie from Brooks.
If anyone wants to get their saddle swallow-chopped, tied, or just the ends trimmed, please feel free to get in touch with your requests. I can do a bit of restoration work to saddles that need a bit of TLC, too. They look lovely without the Brooks badges.
cheers
