For Sale: Peugeot Road Frame: 60cm (seized stem)

Peugeot Carboilite 103 road frame: Has a seized stem (Nitto Technomic)
60cm seat tube. Few scratches but generally in good nick. English thread BB. 126mm/90mm spacing (been running 120mm/100mm and works fine). Takes 24mm seatpost.

I had one almost identical to this- same size, but mine was (almost) red, same seized stem.

I turned it upside down, sprayed motorbike chain lube into the fork crown so it soaked the stem/fork interface and left it overnight.

Next day turned it the right way up, block of wood on the stem, BIG hammer, no more seized stem.

One hell of a lot of rust on the stem when I pulled it out.

Needs an inverse shim for most modern seatposts also.

As in the built up pic: Decathalon 23.4mm seatpost: £10.
Chop the smaller shim that comes with it in half and muscle in. Feels strong and won't slip (even if you're rotund like me)

you don't ask about weight when you are looking at carbolite 103.

9Lbs BTW, frame fork and headset, I weighed one exactly the same once

As RPM said, it's not so light, but it is well made...
Stem is immovable - I couldn't get it out, but your LBS might be able to get it out for you.
