  • Hay guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My ambrosio hub on ambrosio rim is getting pretty tired. I've snapped a spoke on it, and on closer inspection all the spokes are looking pretty worn. I'm going to probably rebuild it with new spokes and shit.

In the meantime, I'm in the market for a cheap rear wheel. Got about £50 or £60 to spend. I have a few things for trade - set of 165 sugino RD cranks (46t 1/8th), profile airwing bullhorns (oversized), variety of front wheels (650c tubs mainly).

    PM me fanks

    Alex

  • "Spokes are looking worn" WTF?

  • You heard me, a couple of them look like they'd snap if I flex them too hard. Also they seem to come loose really easily. I tightened them up 2 weeks ago, and they're already loose.

Also the hub only says Brosio now. And the rim has a scratch on it. The wheel is effectively a death trap!!

  • witcomb has nice rear wheels for £80 if you're near there

  • You just want an excuse to buy a new one..

    I like it.

  • 27 inch flip-flop Mallaird/Weinmann Concave with tire

  • witcomb eh? I am actually fairly near to it. What do you get for £80?

  • An ambrosio hub and rim.

  • That's what I already have, and I got a pair for £90.

I'll just fix the damn wheel.

Unless someone has an aerospoke for £60...

  • Unless someone has an aerospoke for £60...

Surely you, as London's famous London's premier arrospok dealer, must know someone?

Ah, andyp, you forget that i was asking myself that question, in a rhetorical fashion!
