  • Just noticed on the Planet-X site that they appear be the sole UK importer of Dildo bars and by the looks of things they'll be available in sizes and colours later this week at around £60.

    SEE HERE

  • I've never been to a dildo bar.
London's famous London truly caters for every proclivity...

  • haha look at the comments... they nicked yours from here

  • Check out the full carbon track frame with forks and seatpost - £525
    http://www.planet-x-warehouse.co.uk/acatalog/Planet-X_Pro_Carbon_Track_Frame.html
lots of carbon for the track. only 3 mediums left!

  • Good luck finding anything on their website.
On Sunday morning stumbling round their random catalogue I found NJS approved Araya 16B gold rims just hanging around nowhere near the track section whatsoever.

  • Agreed - the website looks like it was 'designed' by monkeys.

  • So when our Keirin guru and new in house street trackie bod (more next week when he starts) gave us the wishlist of his must haves for 2009 we were intrigued to find out when
at the top of his list was the “dildo bar”.

Own up. Who on here is starting a new job next week?

  • Own up. Who on here is starting a new job next week?

mr craig nasty of Manchester famous Manchester

  • Manchester's

  • that planet x frame is awesome! and a good price too! maybe i should ditch my old shitter and get one of those! :P

  • haha look at the comments... they nicked yours from here

    it's not nicked, it's an auto-generated "pingback"

  • more importantly If Nasty's finally got himself a real job do we get to find out his real last name....?

  • Not keen on flat bars in quill stems. And £60 notes too...ouch...

  • yep. its me. not sure if its a "real job" but working on it...

i would never ever consider myself a keirin guru... brants words, NOT mine.

px/onone ARE aware the website is a bit of a minefield... i've spent a hours today trying to get my head around it... 4,000 product items... with descriptions inputed by northerners...

all i can recommend is browsing the website regularly and get you'll get used to it... the old one (when i was just a customer) was a whole heap worse

its an ongoing thing of trying to make it more user friendly...

and yes, the bars are pricey. but thats what you get with something thats handmade. you pay for quality. you folk all know that.

the bars look stunning in the flesh (ah-hem). a lot nicer than the similar eai/nitto version

and dont forget that the current financial climate is really screwing everything up for distributors right now... http://www.hubjub.co.uk/ ... let alone the general '09 price increases

on that tip, when did anyone complain about the price of a loaf of bread or pint of milk (yes i know you have to eat, but EVERYTHING is increasing in price)

unfortuantely, its something we all gotta deal with

for anyone that really wants to find out my real name OR find out why i was first called "nasty" in st johns wood, hook up with me in a bar with an open fire, a couple of battered leather armchairs and a bottle of jamesons and all will become clear

and for what its worth, we're really open to ideas from y'all about what people want... let us know and we'll try and source it for you

and dont sleep on the carbon frames, the offer wont last for long...

    my two cents...

  • The clincher track wheelset for £106 probably needs to be front and centre; cheapest factory track wheelset by a mile but who can find it?

And the tub version with aero spokes for £99 would be of interest if info like the weight was available alongside the pics.

  • my two cents...

    Cheers.
    I take PayPal...

  • adoubletap - thank you. point taken. it took me ages to find it in the stock list ;)

this is the kind of feedback i need... its really appreciated

i can suggest posting weights, but there will be variance - check out weightweenies for example. most manufacturers wont publish weight due to moaners

platini - nice miniskirt or is a miniskort? 2cents paypal'd

  • ^Just think what you could shift if you did this those wheelsets in a few basic colours just off word of mouth on this board?

I perceive PX as quite a word of mouth operation; if you know about them then you know about them, but it's pretty hard to stumble across their products the way you do with other sites who really push their online presence and make sure they get stuff in Google's search results.

  • Can they be cut to size?

  • My advice copy someone's site that works. Chainreaction for example.

  • interesting, but what's your real last name? will their be an "employee of the month" style picture of you on the site wearing a corporate polo embroidered with your full name?

  • you and caspar sporting embroidered rapha rolla polo shirts yets???

whats really interesting is that theres a caspar nelson in mcr who went to school with our caspar...

no uniform enforced at px, unless its a nato extreme condition parka...

  • someone said the "r" word!

  • don't rapha own rollapalwotsit?
that's the impression i get from the cycling media.

  • RPM was stressing to me today there is no ongoing link between rollaplooza and rapha, they just did a couple of roller races together. as with all london cycling its a small world so they all appear to know each other anyway.
