Photographic industry

anyone here in the photographic industry?

i am a photographic assistant up in manchester. do quite a bit of work with some london guys too. done a BA hons in it, graduated in july.

trying to get time to my own work at the moment. i shoot colour 5x4.

shoot freelance in london. also do assisting for bread and butter and whatnot. making transition at the moment to stop assisting and concentrate on shooting full time.

I did some hand modeling once, for a few beers like

i was a child model.

about 3 weeks ago.

i have one of those waistcoats with lots of pockets. i guess that makes me a photographer.

hand models can only be hand models.
they are not allowed to be foot models too.
it's against the law.

If that faker called edscoble comes on here, don't listen to a word. He's deaf, but all his photos I know for a fact were taken by his blind aunt.

No talent whatsoever.

Well........except for being a pretty damn good people snapper. Oh, and I hate him for cluttering up Flickr with his stuff, which is normally top, or in the top 5 in 6x6 searches. Egad, the cad.

I work freelance and also sell my work to galleries etc...

i used to shoot much more medium format than i do now. i own a mamiya 7II w/ 65mm & 80mm lens. one of the best cameras ever made in my opinion. i also have a mamiya rz67. im looking to see it now. anyone interested?
