had similar incident last month, polish white van smash against my rear wheel send me flying onto the tarmac, didn't get numberplate but gave police description of the said vans (especially since it got a polish flag on the numberplate, shouldn't be hard to find a polish ford transit in London), torn my ligaments on my wrist and lockring came undone shredding my hubs.
ah well, live and learn.

Similar happened to me years back except he overtook me to make a sharp left, cue me slamming into his rear side and bouncing on his boot and my front wheel going under his rear wheels to resemble a Pringle.
The cunt just sped off down the road, I chased him for a bit but was long gone
Just one of the many twats that drive on the London streets and as wank as it is, it's par for the course unfortunately

well, as an example;
a minicab driver was feeling impatient and decided to pull out of a side road and take my wheel out as he did so.
this can be avoided if you assumed every vehicle is driven poorly, i.e. assumed that any car will turn left or right, even if it not indicating.
In this case, you can simply learn to assumed that the car ahead will turn left onto your path, even if it not going to.

managed to get taken down this morning on the new kent road on my way in to work,
a minicab driver was feeling impatient and decided to pull out of a side road and take my wheel out as he did so.
no serious damage happened to me or my bike however he did keep driving, even with me knocking on his window.
i was wondering if anyone else has been in a similar situation.....
completely fail to get his reg unfortunately
