I know its a long time till next summer but was thinking about a LFGSS summer holiday next year. Maybe rent out a campsite on mass for a week down on the South coast.

I was thinking maybe the New Forest. You got fairly quiet roads as you are in a national park. Short journey to Isle of Wight ferry. Lots of nice pubs. Royce Hubs nearby. Loads of campgrounds ?

And Calshot Velodrome nearby too.

You got most of my traits in one go.. nice work. I'm not in jail and still have a job for now. My forum software is giving me the irrits though.. needs to be tweaked to bring a little more violence to the party again.

What we need is people manning support car. Handing us water bottles, food packs and then getting to the kampsite and setting all our tents up for us. That way we can focus on the important things like riding and drinking. Sorry, I mean drinking and drinking.

You could drive down to your dads a week beforehand and sort all that out in time for our arrival;-)

What about France - go and see some tour action?

the tour in france next year would be awesome, but I was also thinking about the forum doing a mass mountain excursion like jonny and his lovely lady did this year, ride and toil in some of the classic mountain stages, good wine, good food, and the knowledge you've ridden up mountains with cyclists names written on the road, would be all sorts of epicness
